Description
15 High Street in East Linton is a two-storey, four-bay house built around 1820-1830, situated on sloping ground. The building is constructed from squared and coursed sandstone, featuring ashlar dressings and a base course with raised margins. The doorway is located to the outer left and is framed with an architrave and cornice, topped with a decorative strip fanlight.
At the ground floor, there are windows in the second and third bays, while the first floor has four windows, with the outer bays being blind. The windows are sash and case style, showcasing a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are mutual sandstone gable stacks and skews, along with a scrolled skewputt next to 13 High Street and a brick stack next to 19 High Street.
