6 High Street, East Linton

4 High Street in East Linton is a house built around 1800, featuring two stories and three bays. It is located next to No 2 High Street and includes an early 20th century shopfront. The exterior is made of random whinstone rubble with ashlar dressings and painted margins, while the side is rubble and the rear is squared and snecked sandstone.

The ground floor has two doorways, with a shopfront spanning two bays on the left that includes a central door. To the right, there is a window and a door on the outer right with a strip fanlight above. The first floor has three windows.

The northern side has irregular openings, and there is a piend roofed extension at the rear, along with a harled stair projection that features a decorative round-headed window and a forestair. The windows are sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, featuring both piended and platformed sections. There is an ashlar coped wallhead stack on the north side and a skylight at the rear.
