Description
This late 19th century house and its outbuildings are set back from High Street. The building is two stories high and has three bays, constructed from whinstone rubble with sandstone dressings, and later covered in brown painted harling. At the center, there is a two-story porch projection with painted margins, which encloses a door flanked by a window on the right. Above, there are bipartite windows on both floors in the outer bays. The north gable end is blank. The house features predominantly 12-pane glazing patterns in its sash and case windows. At the rear, there is a single-story outbuilding made of whinstone rubble. The roof is covered with red pantiles, has straight skews, and renewed brick stacks.
