69 High Street, East Linton

69 High Street in East Linton is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house situated on sloping ground facing High Street. The building features white painted harl with painted margins, while the sides and rear are constructed from random whinstone rubble, complemented by sandstone dressings.

On the northeast elevation facing High Street, there is a doorway located to the right of centre, which includes a four-pane strip fanlight above it. To the right of the door, there is one window, and to the left, there are two windows. Each bay on the first floor has a window, and there is a lean-to addition at the ground level with a window in each bay at the rear. Additionally, a small attic opening can be found on the east gable wall.

The house is fitted with sash and case windows featuring a 12-pane glazing pattern, and there are two skylights located at the rear. The roof is covered with red pantiles, has straight skews, and includes renewed brick stacks and flashings.
