Description
This late 18th century building at 71 High Street in East Linton is a two-storey, two-bay house with a single-storey workshop featuring a piend roof attached to the right. The exterior is finished with white painted harl and painted margins, while the sides and rear are constructed of random whinstone rubble, with the rear harl pointed. Sandstone dressings are present throughout. The entrance is located on the outer left, accompanied by a regrettably widened window with modern glazing to the right. On the first floor, there are two sash and case windows featuring a 12-pane glazing pattern. The attic includes a modern slate hung dormer and a skylight at the rear. The roof is covered with red pantiles, has straight skews, and features a renewed brick mutual stack along with a sandstone gable stack.
