Description
This 18th century cottage at 65 High Street in East Linton is a single-storey, three-bay structure situated on sloping ground. It is built from random whinstone rubble with sandstone dressings, although the margins have been renewed in cement. The doorway is slightly off-centre, with sash and case windows featuring a 12-pane glazing pattern on either side. The roof is covered with red pantiles, including two glass tiles as part of the slate easing course. The straight skews and brick stacks have been renewed.
