Description
6 Brown's Place in East Linton is a mid to late 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay terraced house. The exterior is constructed from squared and snecked rubble whinstone, featuring stugged grey ashlar droved dressing.
On the north elevation, there is a centrally located doorway that has been widened at a later date, with a single window on either side. The first floor has three windows, with the center window being bipartite. The south elevation is made of rubble whinstone and includes a centrally positioned stairbay that projects and is roofed with brick in a piend style.
The window dressings have been renewed, and the sash and case windows predominantly exhibit a 12-pane lying-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, has straight skews, and features gable wallhead stacks.
