Description

Barometer Cottage is a 2-storey, 3-bay cottage built in 1812, located at 115 Fisher Street in Broughty Ferry, Dundee. The cottage features rubble masonry with painted margins and is harled on the east gable, topped with a slate roof.

On the south elevation, there is a margined doorpiece at the center, flanked by 12-pane sash and case windows. An unusual stone barometer case, dated 1859, is also present. The elevation includes two modern skylights and a truncated and capped harled stack on the right side.

The east gable has a small window at the lower attic level on the right and a margined door leading to a later addition on the right side.
