89 Fisher Street, Broughty Ferry, Dundee

This is a two-storey house located at 89 Fisher Street in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, built around 1845. The building features a rear wing and is constructed with harled rubble masonry at the back, complemented by stone and brick chimney stacks and a slate roof.

On the south elevation, there is an off-centre two-storey canted window topped with a piend roof, which includes 12-pane and 6-pane sash and case windows. The skew gables, which are mutual on the left side, have skewputts, and there are skylights along with coped stone ridge stacks, with thackstane on either side.

The east elevation presents a plain gable on the left and a set-back wing on the right, which includes a lean-to porch at the re-entrant. This wing has a two-pane window on the ground floor and a 12-pane window on the first floor. There is a forestair with railings leading to the set-back addition on the right, and a copper lantern is mounted on a plain bracket at the corner.

The north elevation features a central gable with a brick ridge stack and an advanced addition. To the right, there is an earlier rubble addition with a margined door and a catslide roof.
