Description
Red Court Lodge in West Ferry, Dundee, was designed by Hippolyte J Blanc in 1886. This single-storey lodge is built in an L-shape and features snecked and bull-faced rubble Dumfries sandstone with polished dressings. It has a green tiled piended roof with lead flashings and a base course. The windows are sash and case, with a 2-pane design at the bottom and a 6-pane design at the top. The lodge has deep eaves and moulded stacks.
On the east elevation, there is a door located in a recessed bay on the right, with a window next to it under the swept eaves. To the left, there is a bowed tripartite window topped with an apsidal roof in an advanced bay.
The south elevation features a door flanked by windows, with a bipartite window on the right side.
