Description

Circa 1870. Symmetrical lodge house, single storey and attic, 3-bay, squared and snecked sandstone with margins stugged, droved and chamfered. Projecting eaves with block corbel. Lower outshot to N, 2-bay, previously milking house.

4-panelled door to front (NE) elevation with letterbox fanlight, flanked by 2 windows. 2 windows offset to rear on SE gable, 1 on each floor. Single window to 1st floor on NW gable. 3 windows symmetrical to rear (SW) elevation, central one smaller, 2 dormers at 1st floor with flat metallic sides. Outshot with 2 windows to front elevation, door and window to rear, tiny window and infilled doorway to gable. Windows timber sash and case with lying panes, mostly 8-pane. Roofs gabled, in graded grey slate, chamfered ashlar skews, with moulded skewputts to main house only. Plain stacks on both main gables, each with 2 plain cans.

Interior retains most of original simple panel doors, banisters and other fittings.
