Description
Druimbeg, located at 3 Panmure Terrace in Dundee, is a symmetrical 2-storey, 3-bay Art Nouveau villa designed by Edward Tough and W G Lamond in 1909. The building features coursed and squared rubble with ashlar details.
The central entrance includes a door and leaded glass windows set within an ashlar grid, framed by a wide semi-circular arched doorpiece with curved arrises. Above the entrance is a 5-light mullioned window with a wide cill and curved apron. The end bays of the villa are canted.
The roofs are piended and platformed, covered with slate, and feature broad corbelled eaves and ball finials. The chimney stacks are battered and include a string course and cornice. The windows are sash and case, with single lower panes and 4-pane upper cases.
The property is enclosed by low rubble-built boundary walls and remnants of wrought-iron railings.
