5 Dudhope Terrace, Dundee

5 Dudhope Terrace in Dundee is a neo-classical villa designed by George Angus around 1840-1845. This two-storey building features three bays and has an ashlar front with random rubble on the sides and rear.

The southeast elevation has a central bay that is recessed, showcasing a doorpiece with engaged Greek Doric columns and a cornice. To the right, there is a canted bay that extends through both floors, while the left side has a bipartite window on the ground floor with an architrave and cornice, and a plain window above. A sill course runs along the first floor, and there are angle piers. The main cornice and blocking course are also present. The side elevations are built of rubble and each has two ashlar corniced wallhead stacks.

The villa is topped with piended slate roofs and features sash and case windows, which now have a two-pane glazing pattern. The front has low boundary walls made of ashlar, while the rear is enclosed by high rubble-built walls.
