1 Dudhope Terrace, Dundee

1 Dudhope Terrace in Dundee is a two-storey, three-bay neo-classical villa built in 1840 by George Angus. The villa features an ashlar front with coursed rubble on the sides and rear.

On the south elevation, the central bay is recessed and includes a doorpiece with engaged Greek Doric columns and a block pediment. Flanking the door are bipartite windows on the ground floor with recessed margins, and there is a sill course on the first floor. The elevation is further enhanced by angle piers, a main cornice, a blocking course, and a block pediment.

The side elevations are constructed of coursed rubble and have two ashlar wallhead stacks on each face. To the right, there is a one-storey outhouse.

The villa is topped with piended slate roofs and features sash and case windows, which now have a two-pane glazing pattern. The front boundary walls are low and made of ashlar, while the rear walls are high and built of rubble.
