Description
9 Dudhope Terrace in Dundee is a neo-classical villa designed by George Angus around 1840-1845. The building is two stories high and has three bays, featuring an ashlar front with random-rubble sides and rear.
The southeast elevation showcases a central doorpiece supported by Doric pilasters and topped with a pediment. The ground floor has recessed margins, while the first floor features a band course. There are angle piers, a band course, a main cornice, and a blocking course.
The side elevations are built from rubble, with ashlar corniced wallhead stacks. The roof is piended and covered with slate. The windows are sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern.
The property is enclosed by low boundary walls made of ashlar at the front and high rubble-built walls at the rear.
