Description
1 Panmure Terrace in Dundee is a single-storey, three-bay villa built around 1840, likely by George Angus. The villa features a Greek Revival style, with a whitewashed ashlar façade and rubble-built sides and rear.
The central entrance is highlighted by a Greek Doric-columned doorpiece topped with a pedimental blocking course. The flanking bays are bipartite, while a wing set back to the left includes a single light and a blocked doorpiece. The main structure has a corniced and blocking course.
The roof is piended and platformed, covered with slate, and features cupola lights over a central atrium. The chimney stacks are made of ashlar, and the windows are sash and case with a two-pane glazing pattern.
At the rear, there is a modern extension. The property is enclosed by ashlar boundary walls with chamfered gatepiers, although the railings are mostly missing. There is also a link screen wall connecting to No 2.
