Description

Thomas Bouch and Thomas Grainger, engineer, 1849-51. Tidal, former railway harbour. Polished and bull-faced ashlar blocks, concrete faced buttresses, flagstone paving at margins, large mooring ring at E.

U-plan with further pier extended from castle battery partly across seaward opening.
