Description

Charles Ower, junior, 1901. Coursed rubble villa with simple ashlar dressings.

S elevation: 3-bay, centre stilted-arched fanlit door with ornate railed balcony to French window over. Canted ground floor bay to right with similar balcony and large mullioned and transomed window over. Timber-framed gable. 4-light turreted bay to left with conical roof; finial missing. Single-storey gabletted bipartite bay to right harled side. Set-back wing to left algered, harled and fronted by canted conservatory with timber bratished roof, glazing pattern altered. Piended slate roof. Gable-end stacks, those to single-storey parts rebuilt in brick. Windows sash and case, 2-pane glazing pattern. Casement windows at balconies.

Ornate railed boundary wall with symmetrically-placed stepped approaches from square-section ashlar gatepiers.
