Description
Reiffer Park is an early 19th-century house that has seen respectful later additions and alterations. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure, with additional two-storey and single-storey extensions at the rear. The exterior is made of rubble that is heavily pointed, featuring contrasting red sandstone ashlar quoins and margins. A later stone rectangular porch with a cornice projects from the center; it has a window and a door on the left side, while the right side is blank. There are windows flanking the outer bays and in each bay on the first floor. The two-storey rear addition is designed to blend in well with the original building.
The house features 12-pane glazing patterns in its sash and case windows. It has overhanging eaves on piended roofs supported by widely spaced brackets. Coped ridge stacks are located on either side of the central bay, topped with decorative cans. The roof is covered with grey slates.
The property is also surrounded by rubble coped retaining walls.
