Description
The building is a Post Office located at 19 Bank Street in Annan, dating from the later 19th century. It is a two-storey structure with a three-bay street elevation. The exterior is made of red ashlar stone, which is channelled at the ground level. The central bay is advanced and features a pedimented doorcase, with a cast-iron royal insignia displayed over the wallhead, showcasing English quarterings. The outer bays contain bipartite windows. Additional architectural details include an eaves course, a cornice, and a blocking course. The roof is both piended and platformed, covered with slate and lead.
