Description
Nunholm is a building dating from around 1840, located at 60 Nunholm Road in Dumfries. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The southwest elevation features polished red ashlar stone, while the rest of the building is constructed from roughly squared rubble. The central entrance has a recessed panelled door with a decorative rectangular fanlight and a pilastered doorpiece. The windows have a 12-pane glazing pattern, and there is a band course between the floors, along with a string at the first-floor level. The building is topped with a cornice, has straight skews, and corniced end stacks, and is roofed with graded slates. The windows on the southeast flank were likely inserted in the late 19th century.
