Description
Norwood Cottage was built around 1840 and is a two-storey building with three bays. It features whitewashed rubble walls accented by contrasting painted chamfered ashlar margins.
On the northeast elevation, there are two upper windows that are asymmetrically placed above the ground floor openings. The entrance consists of a panelled door located near the centre. The ground floor has sash windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern, while the square first floor windows have a 6-pane pattern. The building has end stacks with symmetrically arranged flues that are octagonal in shape. The roof is covered with graded slates and has straight skews. There is a modern lean-to on the west side, and the south elevation has been altered.
