Description
Lindores, located at 55 Southesk Street in Brechin, dates from around 1840. This single-storey building features an attic and has a two-window facade with a central door made of ashlar stone. The entrance includes a central panelled door with a fanlight and is flanked by pilasters. The windows are architraved and topped with cornices. The roof is slated and includes two canted dormers and a central flat-roofed dormer. The south gable is constructed of rubble and has straight skews. The ground flat has been reglazed, while the four-pane divide dormers retain their original lying panes.
