Description

Dalhousie Fountain, located in St Ninian's Square, Brechin, is a late Gothic memorial built in 1876 by architects Wardrop and Reid. It honors Fox Maule Ramsay, the 11th Earl of Dalhousie and 2nd Baron Panmure. The fountain features an octagonal design made of unpolished red granite, with a cusped depressed arch and stepped buttresses that rise to a crown top.
