The building has a two-window gable on Southesk Street, with a splayed corner that includes a pilastered doorpiece and a first-floor bipartite window that rises into a bipartite pedimented dormer. The roof is slated, with two canted dormers facing the square and an attic window in the gable on Southesk Street.
