Description
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 St Ninian's Place in Brechin is a late 19th century building that stands two stories tall with an attic. It is constructed from coursed stugged rubble, featuring ashlar dressings and band courses at the first floor and at the eaves. The ground floor has a bipartite door and shop windows, while the first floor has three windows facing the square. The building has a two-window gable on Southesk Street, with a splayed corner that includes a pilastered doorpiece and a first-floor bipartite window that rises into a bipartite pedimented dormer. The roof is slated, with two canted dormers facing the square and an attic window in the gable on Southesk Street.
