Description
The Gables, located on Smith's Road in Darnick, was built around 1840. It is a single-storey building with an attic and features three bays. The central door is corniced, flanked by tripartite windows that have panelled and reeded entablatures. The front of the building is made of polished ashlar, with rusticated angle quoins, while the sides are harled. The roof is slated and has straight skews with rectangular corniced end stacks.
