Darnick Dairy, Smith's Road, Darnick

Darnick Dairy is an earlier 19th-century building located on Smith's Road in Darnick. The structure is a long range that follows the line of the road. The northern part is a single-storey section made of coursed squared rubble with droved dressings. Some openings have been altered, and it features a moulded eaves course, slated roofs with catslide ventilators at the ridge, and straight skews.

To the south, there is a three-bay single-storey and loft block that includes a modern garage opening on the right side at ground level. This section has square loft openings under the eaves and is constructed from roughly coursed rubble with droved dressings, a moulded eaves course, straight skews, and a rectangular cavetto corniced end-stack. The slated roof of this block features a round-headed loft door on the south gable.

Attached to this block and contemporary with it is a long low range that has two round-headed cart entries on the right and two narrower round-headed openings on the left. This part is also made of coursed rubble with droved dressings, featuring a block cornice and blocking course, and has a flat roof with large modern corrugated iron additions.
