Description

The Gatehouse on Abbotsford Road in Darnick is an earlier 19th-century building that has been altered in later years. It is two stories high and has three bays, featuring a harled exterior with rendered margins and a gable facing the road to the west.

On the south front, there are three bays with a central door. The ground floor windows have been altered, and an additional window has been inserted on the first floor to the right. The building has straight skews, a slated roof, and rectangular coped end stacks.
