Description

West House, located on Abbotsford Road in Darnick, is a mid-19th century building. It features a three-bay main block with a single-bay addition to the south. The main block is a single-storey structure with an attic, characterized by a central door and windows that have sloping bracketed hoods. There are two piended dormers in the attic, along with a later addition of a platform-roofed dormer at the center. The exterior is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, and the extension matches the main block in detail. The building has a slated roof, straight skews, and rectangular coped stacks.
