Description
Cartside Mill Office Block, built around 1870, is a two-storey building with a symmetrical five-bay front made of ashlar stone and featuring angle quoins. The central entrance is highlighted by a doorpiece supported by Corinthian columns and topped with a segmental pediment. The windows are bipartite and adorned with consoled cornices. The building has a dentil cornice, a blocking course, and a central pediment that includes a clock in the tympanum. The roof is piended and covered with slate. The windows are sash and case with a two-pane glazing pattern. There is a modern extension to the east.
