Description

Earlier 19th century. Classical church. Rectangular plan.

Polished red ashlar. 3-bay elevation to street articulated by

giant pilasters supporting entablature and central pediment;

windows at ground and at gallery level with recessed margins

and with late 19th century T-shaped glazing pattern; central round-arched keystoned and pilastered wide doorway (panelled

doors with radial fanlight). Cill bands. Piended and

platformed slated and leaded roof. 5-bay flanks with band

course between ground and gallery windows, blind bays nearest

E with gallery stairs within. 2 semi-circular headed windows

at W. Basement with boiler house.

Screens and piers flank main elevation; low boundary wall to

street.
