Erskine Parish Church, 15 Bank Street, Annan

Erskine Parish Church, located at 15 Bank Street in Annan, is an earlier 19th-century classical church with a rectangular plan. The exterior is finished in polished red ashlar and features a three-bay elevation facing the street, which is enhanced by giant pilasters that support an entablature and a central pediment. The windows at both ground and gallery levels have recessed margins and display a late 19th-century T-shaped glazing pattern. The central doorway is wide, round-arched, and keystoned, flanked by pilasters, with panelled doors and a radial fanlight above. There are cill bands present, and the roof is piended and platformed, covered with slate and lead.

The church has five-bay flanks that include a band course between the ground and gallery windows, with blind bays nearest the east side that contain gallery stairs. On the west side, there are two semi-circular headed windows. The building also has a basement that houses a boiler house. The main elevation is flanked by screens and piers, and there is a low boundary wall along the street.
