Description

Corsock House features a pair of exceptionally large and fine ornamental Gothic cast-iron gates and gatepiers, dating from the mid-19th century. The gatepiers are designed on an octagonal plan, with open upright members and intricate traceried detail. The caps of the gatepiers are shaped like crown steeples and topped with crocket finials. Additionally, there is a smaller turnstile pedestrian gate.
