Description

Late 19th century. Granite castellated lodge, 3-storey square

ower with round tower to SE angle. Rock-faced granite with

sandstone quoins and margins. All single light windows with

4-pane sashes.

Corbelled-out parapet with wall-walk to 'long' sides. Steeply

pitched saddle-back slate roof; crowstepped gables; tall

wallhead stack to W gable. Conical fish-scale slate roof to

turret.

Squat square gatepiers with pyramidal ridged coping and ball

finial.
