Description
The gates at Church Lodge, Lochinch Castle, date from the later 19th century. They feature a two-leaf decorative iron gate for the vehicular entrance, along with single gates for the pedestrian entrances on either side. The gates are flanked by four square-plan sandstone gatepiers that have cornices and ball finials. There are low coped quadrant boundary walls topped with decorative iron railings, and the square-plan gatepiers extend to the outer left and right. Additionally, there is a higher coped boundary wall that encloses the estate.
