Castle Kennedy Lodge, Lochinch Heritage Estate

Castle Kennedy Lodge is a single-storey, three-bay T-plan gate lodge built in the later 19th century. It is constructed from whinstone, featuring contrasting quoins and dressings, and has timber bracketed eaves.

On the west elevation, there is a central, advanced timber boarded gabled entrance porch with a timber door and a letterbox fanlight above it. Flanking this porch are bipartite windows. The south elevation has a single window to the left of the gable and a modern window in the recessed gabled bay at the rear.

The lodge predominantly features four-pane timber sash and case windows. It has a grey slate roof with coped brick ridge stacks and circular cans. The interior was not seen in 1999.
