Description

Probably Brown & Wardrop, 1869. Single storey with attic, 3-bay boathouse on the shore of White Loch. Whinstone; granite dressings and quoins. Timber bracketed eaves.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: advanced, gabled keystoned semicircular entrance arch; single timber doors to recessed bays.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: central tripartite shouldered-arched window; blank flanking bays.

E (SIDE) ELEVATION: timber door to right; tripartite shouldered-arched window to left; central bipartite dormer window at attic.

W (SIDE) ELEVATION: tripartite shouldered-arched window to right; bipartite shouldered-arched window to left; central bipartite dormer window at attic.

Timber lattice windows with margin panes. Grey slate roof; red ridge tiles; decorative iron cresting.

INTERIOR: stone perimeter path; timber columns and open timber roof; oars room to rear.
