Description

The Pembroke College Boathouse is a boathouse built around 1895. It is constructed of brick with a timber upper floor and has a tiled roof. The building stands two storeys tall with an attic and features a four-window range. The ground floor includes two double timber boathouse doors, while the first floor showcases a close-studded applied timber frame. There are four groups of three-light cross casements, with the central upper element arched and multiple glazing bars. The façade is decorated with two encircled quatrefoils in the center and one at each end. The boathouse has two gables, each featuring timber framing and a two-light casement with glazing bars, topped with gabled roofs. There is a 20th-century outshut on the west return that includes a double timber boathouse door. The interior has not been inspected.
