Description

No. 26 Newmarket Road is a building dating from around 1840. It is constructed of grey gault brick and features two storeys plus an attic. The ground floor includes two large French windows and a central six-panel door with a fanlight above. Above, there are three sash windows with glazing bars, along with three dormer windows in the attic. The building has string courses at both levels and is topped with a parapet and a slate mansard roof.
