Description
18 North Main Street in Wigtown is a mid-19th century, two-storey terraced house that includes a shop on the ground floor. The building features an irregular three-bay frontage with harled walling and raised margins. On the right side, there is a granite Roman Doric pedimented doorpiece leading to a pend, while on the left, shop windows flank the shop door. The first floor has three sash and case windows with plate glass glazing. The roof is covered with felt tiles and has end skews, along with corniced end stacks and a sandstone ridge. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing.
