Description
Cable House is an early 20th century cable house located on the Dunskey Estate at Port Kale, overlooking the coast. The building is constructed from interlocking pentagonal blocks that create a figure of eight shape. It features rendered brick with a base course, raised quoins, and timber eaves. Windows are present on all sides except for two on the west elevation, and there are protective shutters. The northeast entrance has a timber door.
The windows are six-pane timber pointed arch designs. The roof is covered with grey slate and has a piended shape, topped with an iron finial at the apex, along with a rendered stack and a circular can.
Inside, the building has timber-boarded panelling.
