Description
6-10 Assembly Street in Dumfries is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys high and features three bays with classical details. To the right, there is a consoled gateway set into a screen wall. The building is constructed of painted ashlar with dressings and rusticated quoins. The main door, located on the right, has a doorpiece topped with a consoled modillion cornice. To the left, there is a central door and window, both framed in architraves. On the first floor, there are three sash windows, each with a 4-pane glazing pattern. The building has end stacks and is topped with a slate roof.
