Description

Earlier 18th century 2-storey 5-bay town house, with ground

floor altered and 2 upper storeys added all probably circa

  1. Demolished 1984-5 retaining facade, remainder rebuilt

with steel frame, timber panelling of "Prince Charlie's room"

largely reinstated and painted. Facade painted render and

ashlar dressings, rusticated quoins and 1st floor architraves

of original house. Central door in doorcase; sash windows;

iron railing over cornice of original house; slate roof.
