Description

The war memorial in Canonbie features a bronze figure of a soldier created by Thomas J Clapperton. It is inscribed with the name A B Burton, the founder from Thames Ditton. The memorial is raised on a tall red granite plinth that has a splayed base and is dated 1921. It includes bronze inscription panels.
