Description
The Minto War Memorial, designed by Thomas J Clapperton in 1925, features a bronze statue of a First World War soldier. The soldier is depicted in a helmet and greatcoat, standing guard with a bayonet. The statue is mounted on a rugged stone plinth that includes boulders and two commemorative bronze plaques at its base. The memorial is set within a memorial garden.
