Description
South Lodge in Barholm, Creetown is an early 19th century small single-storey lodge featuring a symmetrical three-bay front. The walls are rendered, with rusticated granite quoins and granite-margined windows. The centre bay is taller and gabled, constructed from banded granite, and includes a double-leaf pointed-arch door. Above the door, there is an oculus with lattice glazing. The windows are single light with sash and case plate glass glazing. At the rear, there is a flat-roofed extension. The lodge has a granite eaves band, piended slate roofs, and tall coped rusticated granite stacks. There are doorways leading to the back yard flanking the lodge, and pointed-arch windows on the sides.
