Description

This is an early 19th-century building, originally a three-bay terraced house that has been altered to function as a shop with a pedestrian passageway (pend). The building is constructed of Creetown granite. The front features a doorway flanked by square, 19th-century plate glass shop windows, topped by a plate glass fanlight. A pedestrian entrance to a pend is located to the outer right. The roof is covered in grey slates, with small skylights and a sandstone ridge. Cast-iron gutters run along the top. The building is considered to have group value with numbers 3 and 7-19 St John Street.
