Description
Aintree Lodge to Croxteth Hall is an early 19th-century lodge built of brick with stone dressings and a slate roof. The building is one storey high and features three bays. It has a stone base, rusticated quoins, and deep, boxed eaves that lead to a hipped roof. The central section includes a canted bay. The windows are adorned with label moulds and have 20th-century small-paned casements. The entrances are located on the right side of the building. At the rear, there is a later two-bay extension that maintains similar architectural details. The lodge also has central paired diamond stacks, one of which was replaced in 1984.
