Description
The Bank of Fleet Hotel is an early 19th century inn, likely originating in the late 18th century. It is a two-storey building featuring four windows and a central door on the ground floor, with three windows on the first floor. The walls are rendered, with smooth rusticated quoins and painted raised margins. A central Roman Doric porch with an open pediment and a decorative semi-circular fanlight enhances the entrance. All windows are single light sash and case with plate glass glazing. The building has sandstone skews with skew blocks, tall coped end stacks with octagonal cans, and a slate roof.
