Description

This late 18th century building is a two-storey, three-bay symmetrical end terraced house located at 57 High Street in Gatehouse of Fleet. It is rendered with raised painted margins and angles. There are steps leading up to a well-crafted panelled front door featuring a vertically paned fanlight. The house has single light sash and case windows with four-pane glazing. It also features a raised basecourse, end skews, block skewputts, and coped end stacks with thackstanes, along with a sandstone ridge and good slate roofs.
