Description
58 High Street in Gatehouse of Fleet is an early 19th-century pair of two-storey, two-bay terraced cottages.
Number 58 features modern roughcast walling with polished raised margins, a door to the right that includes a fanlight, and a widened modern plate glass window to the left. Number 60 has smooth rendered walls lined to resemble ashlar, also with polished raised margins. It has a door to the left with a fanlight and a single window to the right, which has an out-of-character aluminium frame and plate glass glazing.
Between Nos 58 and 60, there is a doorway leading to a pend. On the first floor, there are four single-light sash and case windows with two-pane plate glass. The cottages have flat skews, a coped stack to the left with a thackstane, and slate roofs.
